This book recently came to my attention. It has easy to play arrangements for violin and piano. I could see some of you using the songs in this book for playing in church or small group settings. It’s so important to start playing in front of ‘audience’ as a new player of any instrument.
The only thing I wish it had were the guitar chords too! Although, it wouldn’t be terribly difficult to figure them out. Can you imagine, a family with a violist, pianist and guitarist having material like this to play together? They look like very lovely arrangements for the beginner to intermediate player.
You can read more about the book clicking here – ‘Beginner Praise for Violin.’

Do you have free finger positions and helps for the violin like the free tips for guitar? I’d appreciate any beginner helps. Thank you.

Sheril, I don’t have finger positions and help for the violin. If I see any… will let you know.
God Bless, Jean

Amazon.com has a sleeve that you can put on the fret board of a violin that show the finger positions. I’ve seen them on ebay as well.
